Artificial grass makes a poolside garden ideal as it compliments the pool perfectly with it's lush green surrounding colour and soft texture. Stepping out of the pool after a swim onto soft feeling grass is one benefit of having an artificial turf laid, but the safety side has to be one of the most important benefits of artificial grass because it is slip proof when wet, making it perfect for a poolside garden. Two of the main downsides to having a pool in the garden are tackled when using artificial grass, making the poolside garden a safer haven.
The first and biggest issue of having a pool in the garden was the surrounding concrete being such a hard surface to fall onto if careless, simply having artificial grass laid meant that the concrete was no longer an issue due to the artificial grass being totally slip proof reducing the risk of nasty falls and with the artificial grass being soft underfoot it acts as a cushion should a fall occur.
The second downside was the surrounding natural grass becoming muddy and waterlogged with heavy usage of the pool, by having artificial grass laid the area surrounding the pool in the garden will never be waterlogged or muddy again and will stay looking lush and green all year long.
